It is the aim of Stichting Vrienden van Beeckestijn (friends of Beeckestijn) to ensure the preservation, sustainable management, free public access and a responsible use of the country estate in Velsen-Zuid.
One of the tasks of the management is the recruitment and selection of volunteers, who are involved in a wide range of activities on the country estate.
In addition, the foundation has the responsibility to supervise agreements that have been made with the owners and users of the country estate, for example, the agreed intention to further restore the gardens and buildings and ensure the main building becomes a museum.
